That's not it either, there's a road by my house if I start at a stop light and drive it hard I can get going EXACTLY 60 at this little side road thing (I got bored one day) so I drive his car and it did it fast, I don't know what's up?, maybe my car runnign shitty?

Yeah, thanks for the info, I didn't know his car was lighter, also I just remembered that his car is tollaly stock besides like air fresheners and I have 2 12's in a box in my hatch with a heavy ass amp mounted onthe back and 18" motegi mr 12's, that could hurt my speed to.

Agree, you had extra weight IN the car. Extra rotating mass to move in the wheels. Not to mention the fact that the larger wheels changed the final drive ratio of your car and made you slower...notice how when you drive your speedo says you are going like 5 or 10mph what you are actualy going...have a friend pace you if you don't believe me.

I read everything in this thread 2 times now and I can't see what you are referring to. The fact remains that you are racing a car that wasn't built for speed, has extra weight, and has tires/rims that are not for drag racing.


Now go back and read the rules about calling people dickheads and cocks. And watch about telling people they don't help out. Some of the people in this thread who have told you these things have done 10x more than you on this site. Take your attitude about getting beat and go someplace else to vent (the hangout is that way).

I think we would tell the same thing to anybody with any kind of car not built for speed....just the way it is.

OK everyone lets not turn this into another 50-Trim in a 16G Thread. chris97pittman it might be better to put these type of thread in the Non-Turbo Section because this is what happens. motegi are notorious for being heavy rims and going from a 16 to 18 isnt the best for racing. If you still have your stock rims put them on and you can probably beat him. CHeck out the Non-turbo section or 2Gnt.com to see what is effective in making GS/RS faster

I am sure I speak for everyone in saying that we are sorry for being rich spoiled dickheads b/c our cars are turbo. You can get a turbo eclipse for 3 grand. There is a Red 97 Talon TSI AWD for sale down the road from me for 6 grand for crying out loud, our cars have become affordable for everyone now. None of the above comments were immature except for yours. I know a lot of kids that have n/t eclipses that build them up for show. But what do you expect if you post a thread about "racing" your n/t against your friends 92 prelude.

It's not a dickface comment it is the plain truth. You have a car that was not designed to go fast...live with it or get the hell out.

#1 i am not a kid....It is physically possible for me to have kids driving these days.
#2 I have never had a car bought for me. I am far from rich. I pay all my own bills...and I am a typical 1g turbo owner in this respect.
#3 Nobody said they were the shit. Don't get mad that you have a car that wasn't built for speed. You don't see us getting mad at you when we have to replace turbos, rear shafts, or cracked exhaust manifolds.
#4 Nothing was said about you in a bad way. Your car isn't fast. This says nothing about you. Why do people have to get so personal when nothing personal was said.
#5 This world is comming to a spot where immature little kids take offense that they have a slow car. You will not go far in life until you learn to deal with the facts. There will be times when things go wrong and it IS your fault (be happy this one isn't)...it happens to us all. Learn to deal with the little things that arn't perfect and you will make it further.

The posts still hold true. You lost because you were racing a car built for profits and not speed with a worse power to weight ratio than your opponent...deal with it.
