Ok, last night a friend and I raced and he has a 1992 prelude s, 135 HP and our cars are both stock but his is faster, how?

quite a bit. No guys I'm sorry for flipping out, that's what I get I guess I was just impatient and when you're 17 it's not easy to buy a car and have the bank accept it, get the loan. etc. so I found this car and it was a go so I was like alright I'm gunna get it. so I take it It'll be a while till my car is even 'quick' I'm on a kinda tight budget.

Don't waste a lot of money on that car unless you are really in love with it. You will be better off to search for a 1g....devilsperm has found several for like 250 a piece.

Honestly, another reason I got a 2g is becuase I like the looks and I wanna go for looks a little more. I'm not asking for a race car just something a bit faster which is why I'm only doing minimul engine things and not turbo's and nitrous etc.

Hey Chris dont get me wrong but about our N/T yeah they are just for boosting sale rather than going fast. I have a 97 nt and a 91 gsx extremely diffrent beasts. I used to run this nice honda with my RS and he had more money into his car and all when all I had was add ons and some weight reduction and beat him everytime i ran with him about 1 or 2 car length. When I got my GSX he didnt know it was me and he tried to run me on the highway, I not knowing my GSX very well said what the heck lets see what this baby can do. I pulled next him and he slammed a lower gear and getting ahead of me while I just left it in fifth and got on the gas and waved him as I passed by yep truly diffrent beast my freind but I love both of them equally the same.

Should I do turbo? because I really like my car and I want to keep it star stage 1 good?

Sure I dont see why not except making a 420a turbo is going to cost more than having an already turboed eclipse or talon. if you like to drag race go with star kit and if you like to autocross go with hahn stage 2. check out hahnracecraft.com am not sure if thats the site but it is cool. the only problem with making a 420a turbo is going to cost you some big bucks but our cars are good for 280hp if you dont plan on going past that also checl out 2gnt.com for more details on the 420a engines they are good I dont complain about them except the lack of power. good ass handling though

Put that money aside for now. You will pat yourself on the back when you sell your N/T and buy an AWD 2G on the same color (So it is basically the same car) and have a blast.




Please don't think that the majority of us are spoiled little rich kids. Most of us DSM'ers are garage mechanics simply because they are not in that aformentioned category.
