So I was wondering with the stock radio their looks like a aux port on the bottom left hand corner of the radio in front. Could that be used for an iPod or something like that?

I haven't tried but I'm more worried about getting my car on the road before the radio.

Are you sure it's a stock head unit? I am unaware of any front aux inputs or anything that would be confused as one for a 1g eclipse radio. Manufacturers really didn't start putting aux inputs into oem head units until the break of the 21st century when portable music started to gain more popularity. A picture would help out greatly.... Also, it will not hurt your unit to attempt to plug in your mp3 player to check it out and see if it works just for fun. :thumb:

i found this online

where it is circled in yellow there is a what looks to be a standard aux jack with a cd button right above it.

when i get to the car i could take a better picture of my radio but it looks just like that.

Hey, you got me curious so i did some searching... Found this thread at the link below (scroll down a little through the thread and you'll see pics and people talking about it)... Looks like it is in fact an auxiliary input. Thats pretty cool for such an older oem unit. Attached is pic from the referenced thread, if it looks like yours then your set.
