Stock oil sending unit w/automete gauge?

I tried searching for this, but no results. I got the autometer oil pressure gauge and it came with a sending unit, but none of the adapters for it will fit in my 90 oil filter housing. I was wondering if the stock oil sending unit will work for the autometer gauge? same signal?.....it is a electric gauge. Thanks in advance

No, the stock sending unit will not work with an Autometer gauge. I believe the thread on the housing is BPT (british pipe thread) and Autometer does make a fitting adapter for that. Send a PM to Kristmen on this site. He bought the fitting from me, and he did alot of research on the subject. He should be able to help you out.
