When I start my 2g GST my stock coolant gauge goes all the way to the top even when the car has been sitting overnight. The only things I have changed in the cooling system is a new oem theromstat, new upper and lower radiator hoses, and new coolant (70/30 mix) with water wetter.

Also does anyone know how I could wire my flex a lite fans to both run as engine fans and not an a/c fan?

The sender guage is one little spade clip on a small sensor that screws into the t-stat housing.

You can check and make sure both contacts are clean and the wire is in good shape. If they are you can unscrew the sensor and then take some real fine sandpaper or a dremel and get all of the coolant crap off the little bar that sticks into the coolant.

As far as the fans go...there is a simple trick to have both of them come on when your main engine fan does. You take a piece of wire and put it in the main engine fan relay and then connect it to the ac fan relay. There is a whole thread, i dont have time to find it but it is in one of MY OWN THREADS. So just look thru mine....
