Just remember not to use one like the old B&M CommandFlo. That wasn't a real AFPR. Don't get one that attaches to the stock FPR, or modifies the stock one. A pretty reputable one is the Aeromotive brand.

.

alot of people that they aren't good... but imo i have one and keeps pressure steady and hasn't gave me any sort of problems..... and yes its the one that you have to attach to your stock fpr...!!!!!

Never tired ebay. If you search the forums you will find posts like this one, Ebay 1:1 AFPR, in which the general conscience is don't cheap on your fuel pressure regulator.

Here are some ideas arranged by price:
Buschur - SX regulator, bolt on w/gauge - $275
STM - Fuelab regulator with install kit - $219
MAP - Aeromotive regulator with install kit - $219
ExtremePSI - Fuelab regulator with kit - $210
MAP - Fuelab regulator with install kit - $209
MAP - AEM regulator with install kit - $189

Looks like MAP is your best bet for selection and price. I hope you find this helpful!

i Got a Fuelab AFPR and it works wonders but its leaks a VERY VERY small amount of gas through the threads of the return line!! i even put plumbers tape, which helped!!!

And i thought the evos came with 560cc injectors??
He couldn't really up his injectors anyways without some type of fuel management!!
Although you can get some of the evo injectors CHEAP off some of those evo forums, just soak them in sea foam for a bit and plug them in.. it will save you a go amount of change rather than buying new 550's some where!

but like said before... running the 16g at 14psi would be pushing more air than the 14b at 14psi and your Fuel Injector Duty is probably getting close to the danger zone!!!! So watch out for that!!

Well i kinda understand what you guys are saying but still my HBC and gauge haven't changed anything... I put the MBC all the way down and it still says 10psi and the same when i turn it all the way up and i'm wondering were it should be hooked up at. Right now its hooked up to the j pipe and the wastegate

Sounds like it is hooked up right, you probably have a very significant boost leak that is leaking out anything over 10 psi. Time for a boost leak test.
