okay so i want to hook up my stock boost controller until i get a new one.
on my last thread i was told the nipple on my intake is for a bleed return on the stock solenoid im just wondering what that is and how i hook it up.

if i hook it up like a non stock mbc there is no other inlet for the bleed hose do i need a tee or something or does it hook up a lil differently ?

The waste gate control solenoid valve is the stock boost control solenoid.

is there anyway to adjust boost on the stock controller? i have been having difficulties with mine as well. and i think it might have something to do with my car idling funny, i just completely removed the stock controller because when i bought the car, the lines wernt hooked up and i do not know were the boost/ vaccum lines hook up to. im a little confused, theres nipple on my intake which i trailed the lines for the boost gauge and vaccum line for the waste gate actuator. any hints or diagrams to help me hook everything up right? iv also been getting pretty bad gas milage as well.

The diagram is posted already in this thread.

Never T into the BOV line. You need a boost source and the closer it is to the compressor housing, the better, for your boost controller.

The 14B uses a J-pipe that has a nipple on it from the factory. See the diagrams in post #2 for the 1G vacuum diagrams.

It will be less than ideal, but you can try one of the throttle body ports.

You can use a manifold vacuum source, it won't hurt anything. If you have a boost source free on your throttle body or any vacuum port on the intake manifold that you've capped you can use that. It isn't optimal, but it will work until you can get a nipple on the compressor outlet.

aww this sucks :/

this car is my daily and my j pipe doesnt have a nipple..

theres no possible way to run my car without the nipple and be safe on boost?

Why not just drill and tap a nipple into your J-pipe or compressor cover?
