stock boost controller question

ok so i have been trying to find out wtf has been causing me to get only 175 miles to a tank of gas...i was doing some eliminating of lines (egr). well i was lookin over all my vacuum lines and noticed a line from the stock BC that goes to the intake pipe was not hooked up.. just chillin open.. would this have caused my horrible gas mileage?

175 miles to a tank means NOTHING. What is your miles per gallon?

Bad fuel injectors is a possibility if they are leaky also. It will cause it to run rich.
