are all of the 2g turbos T25's? or did they switch to a differnt turbo sometime?

Yes. All models of 2g turbos, both eclipses and talons rock the T-25 (also known as the T-too small on these boards, haha) from the factory.

A/Ts use a smaller turbine. There were only the two used throughout the 2G production run.

And yes, the "Too Small" is quite the little joke if you're trying to take a stock car to a dragstrip. However, if you're driving on real road in real traffic, that smallness comes into its own in a wide powerband, quick spool-up and low RPM boost. It's a very good turbine up to around 5500+ RPM, where the huge majority of daily driving is done.
