Still stuck in between gear shifting

My auto 2nd gen 98 GSX with 160k on original motor sticks in between gear when put from reverse to drive and also seems to be missing 2nd probably 3rd. I recently did a trans filter/fluid change with same results. Could this be a ECU/TCU/selenoid issue or am I looking at a rebuild or should I take a chance at a low mileage used trans. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated to figure this headache out.

I'd check the selenoids first man. ### that's a lot cheaper than the alternatives. If it does turn out to be a straight bad transmission then pick up a used one for cheap..most of the ones I've come across are in pretty good condition surprisingly. Hope that helped a little bro!
