Hey what's up everyone.I already posted about this before but got nowhere.I have a 93 tsi which won't shoot fuel out of the injectors.I have 43 psi at the filter, more then enough comes out the return.I have 3 turbo ecu which are good.I replaced the resistor pack with a known good unit.nothing.I was then told it has to be the cam angle sensor so I replaced it with a known good unit black top and much too my surprise, nothing.with the key in the on position and cam angle sensor out,I spin it by hand and about every half turn it activates the fuel pump, fuel spikes up on my gauge to about 48-50 but still nothing.any suggestions, advice, anything useful will be greatly appreciated because at this point my brain has run out of steam.anyone know an easy way to test the injectors.I have the rail on my vavle cover hoping I will turn the cam angle and fuel would spray everywhere but I get not one drop.thanks for your time.

Check for dirt/debris at the connections on the fuel injectors where they clip to the harnessing.
Also they may be clogged, get them cleaned out. I know somewhere here on the forum there was an article i remember reading on how to clean the injectors but can't remember where i saw it.
Last but not least did you ever change your fuel filter ?
After you do these steps report back and let me know what happens.

The filter is new and the gauge is right on the filter.the injectors are 2g with supposedly 75k on them but they're from ebay so I just wanted to test them.I know there's some way to get them to spray manually but I can't seem to find it I tired out the search button already.also idk if this helps or means anything but when I crank or turn the cam angle a few times the resistor pack starts to get pretty hot.

Anyone else?common guys I really need some help here.there has to be more then one person on here that has something to say about this.this is the same reason I got nowhere with my first post,no one really wanted to help me out.

it could be the injectors form ebay. did they work before with you? or have they not worked the whole time you have had them? if you've never seen those injectors shoot with your own eyes them i would point my finger at them first. im having a similar problem right now, except im not getting any fuel at all. no pressure, no pump priming when key is turned, no fuel at the filter. i dont mean to hijack your thread ,but i found your posts while trying to find some answers for myself.
another thing id suggest is to put a multi-meter to the injector connecters and see if there with in spec.. hope you get it sorted out.

It sounds to me that the pump is running, but the injectors are not opening or getting signal from what i read. It could be your ecu is bad or going bad. Does your "cel" go on with the key in "on" position. Pull the ecu out and check for capacitor damage as well. Just another possibility to eliminate before moving on. Do you have spark?
Also to test injectors, you could use a 9volt battery with simple power/ground wires to injector, you will feel it pulse

Try a different fuel control relay, it's right next to the ECU (right bottom corner of ECU towards the shifter). If it's bad, the car might start if you unplug it and plug it back in. It's a small square box held in by 2 bolts with 8mm heads. I believe they're all the same -- 1g turbo and non-turbo and 2g turbo, so it shouldn't be too hard to find one.

I assume you mean the MPI relay. Unless his ECU isn't powering up because of it, there is no reason to swap it. It sure sounds like the fuel pump side of it is working.

Is your timing right?

Also, you should be able to test your injectors with an ohm meter or noid light.. If you have a manual look to see if it's within spec.

And when your turning your CAS by hand with key in the ON position. Can you hear the injectors clicking?
You could use a stethoscope for that.

Good luck.:thumb:
