Steering wheel tilt

I bought a eagle talon DL, which is the non turbo front wheel drive model, and i was wondering if every model of the talons have a sheering wheel tilt, cause i was looking to take my steering wheel off to experiment and find out how to put a new steering wheel on and i found a lever that is located underneith the steering wheel, so i pulled it down and i was like shit that couldent bee good. this has got to be the dumbest question what else could it be, could i get some POSITIVE feedback please

I don't know if every one has tilt, but that's where the tilt lever is on my eclipse... line up the steering wheel where you want it and try pushing the lever the other way, it should lock in place.

yes... i believe so... i had a 1.8 dizzum, the lowest model u could get and it had tilt
