1G Starts then dies

Drove my car to get inspected last month, did a lil tuning, and overran the mas, let it sit until yesterday i went to put a 2g MAS on, and the most it will do is idle for less than a minute and die. sooner if i touch the throttle, then just a putter occasionally. I even tried wot cranking and various other positions and nothing

Did you put everything back to normal, before the smog test?

check for leaks at intake snorkle and etc. it is sucking air somewhere.

Did you check that the ISC is cycling in and out?

Any check engine light codes?

You might also wanna inspect everything that was looked over by the smog tech.

A boost leak test might also be a good idea.

No smog or any other emissions testing, just visual here, no cel, I'll hafta check the isc and intake area for seepage then.

Hope you didn't fubar the ECU when you did the switchback...

Sorry on that .. maybe disconnect and reconnect the negative connection from the battery to reset the ECU .... seems the best trick to do at times.

Check the ecu out for bad or leaking caps.

I do that from time to time and no timing is lost. All this does is clears out the stored CEL memory and gives it a freshen up...like rebooting a computer.

DURRRRR...reset the ecu, cranked it, no start, then it dawned on me that something was missing, the whine of a walbro...digging into that now

Have voltage and ground, gave it power from jumper wires and they got hot and nothing good thing it has the trap door and not hafta drop the tank
