My car has been sitting for a few years and I want to get it up and running again. My plans right now are to change the oil, drain the gas, and swap the battery. After that's done, prime the fuel pump and see what happens.

Is there anything else I should do before I try and turn her over?

Yep do all that..We do reccomend to pull the mpi fuse and crank for a bit just to get everything primed..

Change the plugs too, basic maintenence stuff for the first start, fuel filter etc.

After I bought my car it came straight from storage where it sat for 6 years. Mint car but I changed the transmission fluid, rear end, motor oil (and again after 500 miles), did a complete coolant flush, changed plugs and wires (were chewed on by rodents) and boost leak test. Things I still have to do, the valve cover gasket and exhaust mani because they are leaking.
