Not starting after a long rebuild.

I blew my engine a couple years ago. And since the car has just been sitting and getting more and more parts taken off it. In the past 3 weeks or so I finally got off my rear and got to working on it. I have the car altogether now and go figure it won't start. I've got spark, I've got fuel, But It just won't fire up. The ECU has been rebuilt. Engine has all new gaskets and new timing belt. I also installed a Walbro 255 and a 2g Maf as well as a couple of other goodies.

Just wondering If anyone has any ideas on what I should do to try and get it going because i'm about tapped out.

Sounds like you are running into same problem i ran into. Check and make sure DTC is on proper stroke(intake not exhaust), also could be back connection to the ECU. I still havent figured whats causing my no start as i too have fuel, spark, and compression. just make sure TDC is on proper stroke like i said. Hope that helps.

Did you install the trigger plate on the crank correctly. I remember a few people have done this and when they went to start the car they had everything but compression. If the trigger plate is flipped around, when you went to install the timing components it throws the timing of the pistons to the valves off enough for it not to start and you might have bent some valves in the process.

Just something to check.

I had this same problem too, mine ended up being i had the 1 and 2 plug wires backwards on the coils... check your firing order.

Trigger Plate is on correctly. It is throwing good compression. Firing order is good. From left to right I did it 4321 at the engine. and 4123 on the coil pack.
