I rebuilt my engine about two weeks ago and it has been hard starting ever since. sometimes it will start sometimes it will not. i have tried everything and no help. when it does start the idle is really bad. the only mods that i have is a boost controller. i pulled my spoark plugs today and they were fuel soked. please help need it running right again

Go back to the basics.

1. Check valve timing.

2. Check base ignition timing, 5* BTDC

3. Boost leak test.

4. Check plug gaps and wire order.

5. Check compression.

6. Check your ECT, Engine Coolant Temperature sensor.

Good luck.

what is the easyiest way to test it?
Assuming you're talking about the ECT as per our PM, you can measure the resistance of the sensor, 68*F = 2.45 ohms, 176*F(after car warms up)=296 ohms. Then test for continuity between your ECU harness and the ECT plug. All of this can be found on the service manaul, which I hope you already have after having already done a swap. A logger would be very handy right about now.

BTW Please complete your car profile with a complete mod list, it will make helping you easier.

ECT good and the ECU looks fine checking all igintion wires now

worst part it just started and now will not start again

ok i have figure it out to a point.

first spark plugs where backwards always check the small things.

went to check the compression becasue it is hard to start when the vechicle ahs ran for awhile and i noticed that i have nothing over 80 on all cylinders i hope that i just becaseu the engine is not broke in.
