I have a 1995 eagle talon tsi (built in 94), the issue I am running into is that i seem to not get any spark or fuel and i'm thinking that it has to be the MFI relay however I was able to get one out of my buddies car and put it in it and I just don't think that both are truley bad. does anyone know of a ohms check for it and maybe some other solutions. I know that when i jump a certain wire (B/W to B/BL stripe, fuel pump runs.) I have also tried his ecm? any other ideas or maybe even a flowchart for a no-start would be great thanks.

sorry but this didnt help me.
I need actually someone that has expirenced something like this for that particular car and year for it to be the same becasue the MFI relay is completely different on this car than other years because this was the transistion year of using some old, but new as well.

There's ? 4 ? capacitors in ecu that are prone to leaking ESPECIALLY on 1g dsm's. Pull ecu out of car, open it and inspect around caps near the bottoms for any signs of burnt black stuff that leaks from them. Even remove board to inspect on other side of board too. IF you see any sgns of cap leakage you probaby have found all your problems because this is VERY common on 1g ecu's and imo not having a good spare ecu on hand or at least a re-capped primary unit is not good and say that from owning 3 - 1g's over past 13+ yrs.

*edit

Just realized you have a 2g but would still check ecu because a 15 yr old ecu can easily develop problems too.

I had this issue in my galant which uses the same crank sensor as a 95 4g63t and it turned out to be the crank sensor. I dont think you can actually check the crank sensor to see if its bad without an oscilloscope or something like that. However, good luck!

I have no power going to my fuel pump and no ignition. It seems that my mfi relay could be bad however the 1994/5 talon 2ga has a different kind of mfi relay instead of having two different for the fuel and spark its one big relay but dont know how to check if its bad and I have swapped it out for another one already and I know the fuel pump works because i have the jumped the relay already and made the ump run but still no spark??????? please help I have checked my grounds thoroughly.
