starting problem

My car wouldn't start yesterday it a good while for it to start it done this two times I checked the spark plugs and they were good it hasn't done it today if anyone has had this problem and can give me any hints of what could be makeing this happen thanks guy

Wouldn't start how? Need info on like what it was doing. Such as weak cranking or good cranking but no start. Start and cut off. ETC.

Could be the crank position sensor or cam sensor, possibly could be something with ecu.

The car cranks over fine it only happens every once in a while but I will check in to the ecu and cam sensor thanks everyone for if help.

I feel ya. I had the same problem. I checked everything. I looked at the schematics to check everything in the fuel/spark areas.
Check the cps and the cas carefully. When they were plugged in, the car seemed to crank unevenly... when i unplugged either one, the car cranked smoothly but still no start. Turned out it was the cps having a connection issue. Also check the fuel pump relay.

Does it not start mainly after setting for a couple hours, but start right up after a couple of minutes of setting if so pull you vacuum line on you fpr and see if there's fuel in it. Could be loosing fuel pressure in system due to faulty fpr, and its just priming the system when your cranking it.

Make sure its not just your fuel pump quitting on you too. Fuel pumps can go out like that
