Starting problem, wont turn over

I just got done putting the tranny back on my car, and I went to crank the engine over and i get nothing.

The starter wont turn or make a sound, I checked the battery connections and the connections on the starter its self and found nothing wrong

I'm going to look at it again tomorrow, but i was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what i should look at or check. I am hoping someone has something in mind that I havent thought to do.

Check the little black wire that goes from the starter, and has a black plug on the end of it. Make sure it is plugged in. Make sure the battery is grounded good on the trans @ the starter bolt. Make sure the ignition fuse is not blown, under the hood. Go through again and make sure you connected all the harnesses.. Just re-check everything. Obviously something isnt plugged in, or it is something really simple.

after checking everything electrical, I went inside the car and checked the clutch. And Voila, the clutch was not triggering enough to let me start the car. A couple little turns later and its starts.
