I figured this would be the right place to put this, seems like a newbie question. But can you start up a car that is missing a clutch line. I might be picking up a talon soon and it needs a clutch line and I would like to make sure it at least starts up first and idles well.

I remember when I was a kid my dad was working on a car and it wouldn't start and had to move it. so he put it in 1st and moved it with the starter. wouldn't want to do it to much or to long but gets the job done.

Disconnect the clutch safety switch Up ubove the clutch pedal there is a connector you can release...Do that and you can start the car without pressing the clutch pedal....just make sure its not in gear....

^ Beat me to it haha. Yes what he said, there is a connector under the dash panel that when unhooking it wil llet you turn your car on without touching the clutch.
