Starts fine when it sits.
I can drive up the street come back and kill it, turn it over and it will start. Kill it and it wont start again for quite some time.

Battery voltages are good. It's almost new. Wiring to the start is good, it's getting power but it won't spin when hot.

Everything else works fine. Fuel pump whirrs etc but after driving the starter wont even click. It tested good.

I have seen this alot over the years it's usually the solenoid on the starter going bad. It will usually start doing it intermittently then get progressively worse over time. When the stater cools off it will function fine.

Best bet would be to replace the starter now before getting stranded or having to pushstart it on the side of the road somewhere.

i had my car do this too, i made a heat shield for it and problem solved. thats just from my experience though. you may have a different problem
