2G starter relay bypass killed power

I did the starter relay bypass on a 2g I just got. I was ruling that out, but as soon as I turned the key it acted as though I blew a fuse and lost all power to the car. The car does nothing, it acts like there is not a battery in it. A little help? I checked all the fuses they are still good, so what to check?

From what you are saying it sounds like you've been having a bad ignition switch and started messing with the starter relay. Check your ignition switch if all your main big fuses are good.

I will check that out for sure, will that cause all the power in the car to cut out?

Before I bypassed the starter relay everything worked inside the car, dome lights, key beep sound everything was normal aside from the starter not cranking. I bought this 2g tsi non-runnning so I was just going to run through the trouble shooting.

If you're 100 percent sure about the main fuses in engine bay are good then it's either your ignition switch, a bbreak or loose connection or burned.

Forgot to mention it has some kind of push button starter installed looks kind of cheap, I'll try checking the ignition switch thanks for your help. I might not get to it till maybe the weekend but I'll post results.
