1G No power to Starter Relay

1991 Talon TSi awd 5spd. Car sat for 10yrs, new fuel pump, repaired ecu, new MPI relay, fuel pump rewire. I'm not getting power to the starter relay. With key on it shows 0 volts at all 4 prongs. I also cant get the fuel pump to prime. ( works directly wired) If i turn the key to start i get a click from the solenoid at the starter, i bypassed the key with a handheld remote start and i get the same click from the solenoid. I have power to the ignition switch from 5 of the 6 wires ( blk/ yellow no power) Engine turns over by hand.

Update: i banged on the starter solenoid with a wrench and now it will turn over.

I searched all day yesterday. Bad ignition switch?

My 99 has a faulty ignition switch, I have to press the key firmly into the cylinder as I turn it, or it wont engage the ignition sequence. So I have to push in the key and turn at the same time.

Dumb question but are u pressing the clutch in or have verified if the switch works?

Thanks for the help. I got it to run. I banged on the starter with a socket and saw that my relay for the fp rewire was incorrect and fixed that. I had to hold the throttle body open and use ether but now she starts right away and sounds healthy.
