Ok... When i attempt to start the car, i usually just get the solenoid click. Then 20% if the time the starter rotates the engine really slow making this loud obnoxious sound that resonates through the car. The last 5% of the time it rotates normally, but it's like pulling teeth to get it to that point.
I just recently completed a buildup and just had to replace/upgraded the pump in my automatic tranny. The starter plate is there. I just replaced my alternator, and starter, and ran a new jumper from the starter relay directly to the starter chasing this issue. The battery is relocated to the rear of the car using, at least 4 guage braided cable from the starter to battery, and from battery to a ground 12 inches away. All new grounds. However the ground from the block/starter to the firewall is 8 guage. Could that be the problem?? Or should that be sufficient? If not, where do i start searching?
Any ideas would be appreciated
