Start up after 4 months

I'm finally getting my car back up and running after 4 months of sitting and not being started, and i just wanted to know if there is anything i should do before starting it up again so that nothing happens to any components. The water in the radiator is really rusty, can i used a flush to clean it out? Any suggestions would really help.

I'd change the oil and the coolant, if the coolant looks as you describe. The gas is going to be old, but it should still start. The battery may be dead, so it might need a jump. You could prime it if you wanted to, but I don't really know if that is necessary or not.

I would do the above and also turn it over a few times with no fuel or spark just to prime the oil pump up a little.

as both tuners have said already is good. also make sure you let it have AMPLE time to warm up and get used to running again before you take it for the mandatory a$$ whoopin that is next.

If you have any problems starting it after the coolant flush, etc, drop the gas tank and clean it. Or at the very least, drain the gas and add some fresh. Yes, gas goes bad. 4 months is enough time to cause this.
