car wont start after sitting for about 7 months

the turbo on my car went out a while back so i took it off and ended up running in to some money problems so the car just set there for about 5-6 months with no oil or anything,and i finally started working on it the past months and got a new turbo on it and everthing put back together and i when to go start it and it doesnt do anything not evern turn over...so i was just wondering could the motor possibly be locked up or what could be wrong with it...any advise would be great thanks..

I would first make sure the battery is charged, then check the terminals.

Like sr kegler said check to make sure the battery is good, if you have a volt meter you can check it that way if not, use another car battery that you know is good just to see. Also make sure to double check your work because after 5-6 months you may have forgot to put something back on that NEEDS to be there. Let us know if you can get it cranking

no it doesnt want to crank or anything..and the battery and terminals are fine..and i just double checked to make sure everything was hooked up.

Check your starter to make sure it is working properly and that the wiring is good for it.

Its strange it wont even crank # all, charge the battery secondly. if it turns over but will wont fire it could be Crap gas, nasty plugs, weak battery, dry rotted plug wires, corrosion on discharge head @ the coil, clogged out filter on your pump or @ the firewall... Beat o2 sensor, oil soaked or beat aiflow meter, crossed plug wires. Switch or relay in the ignition system could be beat. There are parts of that system that fail and would lock out any reaction except click click.

Remove your spark plugs, put it in neutral, take a ratchet & extension and try turning the engine over by hand. Make sure you only turn it clockwise. If the engine turns over easily you know the engine isn't locked up.

Check the clutch switch. There's a lot of no start threads, just follow everything the other people tried until you find out your problem.

well thats whats getting me so confused bc ive had to deal with motors not starting but they at least turned over..but i never had the problems with one not doing anything..but it does seem to act like the batterys dead but the WHOLE time im trying to start it the lights on the gauges never dim or anything? i guess ill just try a new battery tommorrow since alot of ppl are talking like that might be the problem..i'll let you all know how it goes...but any other advise will still help..thanks

where was it parked? I have pulled many of cars from a wood line that has set for a bit, rats, mice squrrils and other roadents like to chew on the wires. you may have that for an issue.
