picking up a 87 conquest tsi, i have a few ? on the turbo hot side can i put a evo9 on a dsm 16g? im planing on useing evo intake and exhuast mans.

They are completely diff engine codes. 3g63 is DSM/EVO. yours is a 2.6 4 liter. totally diff

yes the stock 2.6 G54B is a 8v sohc, im swaping in a 4g63 7bolt with a T5 trans

Yeah if I were you, I won't mess around with that engine. I know guys that try to squeak as much as they can with those motors and pay a lot in the end vs a 4g63 swap. If you want a good advise, ditch that engine and swap a 4g63 in there, there are so many sites to do the swap. Every year it gets easier and easier to swap them with others doing the swaps and telling what to do or not do.

I have helped on getting a couple G54B to run.

The swap is using the stock 14g hotside on a 16g.

ALOT of port work needs to be done, Intake, exhaust mani, If your TBI.. then that needs alot of mod.

The design of the G54B intake sucks.

thanks for the info but the g54b will not be in the car i have a running 95 7 bolt, but now my ? is can i use this block, the monts are on the trans on a 2g, can i make monts for it and will they hold?
