last weekend came a cross some dirt cheap starquest wheels 50 bucks! i know you cant staggered awd tall (ex. 17inch wheels in and 18 inch wheels, big no no) but i wondering because the starquest wheel are offset wide, 205mm in front and 225mm in the rear (this the tires width) but both wheels are 16 inches. my question is would these wheels f**k up my rear diff on my 91 tsi awd ?

The tires are wider then the front, or the wheel itself is? I dont see how wider rear tires would hurt. But what series are they? If its 205/50/16 front and 225/45/16 rear for example thats fine but if the are both a 50 series tire then the rear will be taller. the first number, 205, is width. The second 50, is series, which means 50% percent of the width is sidewall. Saying that the side wall is roughly 102.5mm tall. And obivously the third number is wheel size

They wouldn`t hurt your diff, but the wrong offset would make it a tough fit in the wheel well. Have you ever seen Starquest wheels on a DSM?
