I was driving on the interstate the other night and all of a sudden out of the blue all my dash lights,(coolant level, check engine, battery light, even brake light) all started comming on and then the car stalled. Had to leave it there overnight went to get it the next day to see what was up and she cranked right up but the dash lights were still on. I reved it up a few times ad my buddy said he saw sparks comming out of the alternator at about 4500 rpms. Started to drive back home then she died again. Could the problem be a bad short in the alternator or what do you guys think????

P.s. its a 91 Talon 2.0 NT
