SRS Sensor

Anyone one know if the SRS computer is the SRS sensor? I am trying to buy the sensor, and I believe it is the same part. Also the other thing is that all 2g airbags fit the same, correct?

Did you recently get into an accident or are you replacing an airbag that has been deployed? From what I understand you'll need to have a Mitsubishi dealer or body shop perform any repairs related to air bags. I did a steering wheel swap w/buddy and his SRS light would not go away. We simply bolted in the steering wheel and hooked all the harnesses together and the light would stay on. I was told that there are serial numbers that must be synchronized /setup. As for fitment, they will all fit the same-yes.

Your friend put a new airbag in a popped car? Im surprised it didn't blow in his face.

No, we just swapped steering wheels (he wanted a black one). Thanks for the info on the bearings-n-all. I've seen many people get into accidents w/these cars and the air bag never deploys.
