I'm looking to purchase an exhaust to go with my new punishment racing 3 inch downpipe and I've come across the srs Catback on eBay and I've read reviews and people like them but my question is for members who have the exhaust is the whole exhaust a true 3" or does it bottle neck down to fit the stock cat? The descriptions on the auctions aren't very good so I just want to double check before I buy one thanks

I have one of those on my 2g and it is 3 inch all the way back perfect fitment and great sound for the money.....

^^Agreed. Have one on my car and love it! Low deep sound while crusing and opens up at wot, comes with a 3" to stock cat adapter tho if you run one.

I Agree with everyone. I put one on my 2G about a month ago and love the low deep sound. The fitment was actually great and it does come with the adapter for the stock cat and all gaskets needed. Great purchase for the money. Good luck!

mine was not a full 3" all the way for the 1g awd. it necks down slightly to like 2.80ish before and between the two resonators...

i paid 200 for it shipped on one of the best offer auctions from seller "nissangtrpower"

Okay so it will forsure is 3 inch all the way and should bolt up to my 3 inch downpipe then?

Exactly how mine is (1gen AWD), I've made a review on Talk if you want to read it :)

The strange thing is that it neck at 2.800" where the resonator are but after it goes 3.250' till the end.

Now I'm running an ebay downpipe, I extented it with a 3" piping and welded a v-band to connect the SRS cat-back. With those not pricey exhaust, the flange never align ...

Deep sound and can't beat the price !

I didn't know there was 2 resonators. So it will not directly bolt up to a 3 inch downpipe then? Since it goes down to 2.8? Have you noticed any performance gains with the srs?

The SRS is a cat back system, you will need an aftermarket act/test pipe to connect it to from the downpipe. I have the Megan Evo 3 downpipe, customed CXRacing test pipe, to SRS. Cat sounds great as I said before and the car did become torqueier (sp) through the powerband.

Is your setup a 3"? I got an email from the seller that says the srs starts at 2.5 then goes to 3 so how did you connect your 3 inch test pipe to the 2.5 opening of the catback
