Just wondering if the guys at the muffler shop will have a hard time making 3" piping onto a cat converter that has a 2.5" outlet...

anyone know a ball park price on what they will charge? coming from experience. I can't drive to the shop unless I know I can afford it, I'm running open downpipe with expired inspection.

Why not just get a converter that will downgrade a 3" flange to a 2.5" flange?

The shop will charge about $100 (at least).

I have a spare converter if you are interested. Let me know and I'll go dig it up.

They told me they have a machine that opens up pipes, only problem is that cats outlets are delicate so their is a risk of it breaking. Oh well, just need to find a high flow cat now or even a stock one for now.
