Spyder Spyder spewing coolant and making noise

Bought another eclipse this weekend. Lady said that when it heats up coolant shoots out of top of radiator cap. Has 104xxxx miles top is stuck up and needs little work paid 800$ was it a good deal.

99 eclipse GST Spyder. Bought for 900$ has 104000 miles. Customer says coolant shoots out of cap when hot. And has a noise comes and goes from top of engine. Not a rod knock it's a tick.

I'd say 900 is a steal if the mileage is correct. Even though it has been raced and riced. Anyway,
Are you asking us to help identify the noise? If so, we would prefer a video to hear it for ourselves. It could be a lifter issue, but we can't say for sure from a vague description.

Ok sorry to ask again engine noise. Not leaking any fluids at all has been sitting for 5 years
