Hey guys, so I bought a 99 spyder, and I put the top down to test and and all that stuff while I was looking at. Well I get home and put the top down and drove around for a while and when I put my top back up my headliner was loose. Has anyone else had this problem and know a way to fix it. I cant find anything on here except how to fix the leaks. Thanks guys and gals. Ps ill have to post pics of my dsms later :D I got the bug :hellyeah:

does anyone know how to attach a convertible headliner to the front of the top by the window? thanks

does anyone have any info on this? it looks like there is a "Velcro" style material but both sides have the "hooks" I really would like to get this fixed asap thanks

I have a problem with my headliner as well.
My issue is with the rear right above the window. It sags and blocks my window.
I've tried everything, new Velcro and even went as far as super glueing it, still no luck.
I'm planning on running to a linen store and getting a thick thread to sew it to the top.
Let me know if you find another solution.

It's held on with velcro strips along the front rail, and along the rear window. Everywhere else, it's basically attached to the ribs that support the canvas.

I'm planning on running to a linen store and getting a thick thread to sew it to the top.

If you sew it to the canvas, the headliner may not be able to shift when the top folds down, resulting in tears in the head liner, canvas, or both. I don't know if it would tear for sure, but I can definately see it happening. Not to mention you'll see the stiching on the outside too.
