Okay, this is my first post guys, so take it easy on me. Here is my situation. I have a 91 Laser turbo stock except for free mods. It has sat up for some time but all of a sudden when it hits rpm around 4k or 5k it starts to sputter. i looked at the plugs and they look okay. I run 93 octane gas so I dont think its that. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Yes, it just happened overnight. I dont have anything to read codes so i am not sure. When checking for boost leaks, do i just inspect hoses? I will be in search of the culprit as soon as i get off of work. Thanks guys for the help. I will check for vaccuum leaks also

:laser: Ok guys, I am almost sure I have it fixed. Thanks for all of the help. :laser:

Explanation of problem corrected: I got home today after buying plugs, wires and fuel filter and began going at it. First I started inspecting all hoses and vaccuum lines to find them all to be in decent shape so I changed the plugs. Then I got to thinking about the length of time it has been sitting up (nearly 1 year) and the gas came to mind. I had put about $7 of 93 octane in it yesterday. Well I went straight to the auto parts store and got some injector cleaner and a bottle of fuel stabilizer. Put it in the tank, drove around for a few minutes and started home. I could tell a difference so i punched it. No problems up to around 5k rpm and no problems up to 125mph so hopefully that did the job. I will be able to check it out tomorrow to get a for sure answer.

Thanks to all who helped! :thumb:
