sputters when building boost

when i start going it is fine till i start to build boost then i startes hesitating and won't build boost and i can't go but on my boost gauge it will build to ten where it is set if you can help as soon as possible that would be great

and i have a big16g with manual boost controler 3in exhaust and hacked mas it is fine until i get to where it startes to build boost then it hesitates and struggles until i drive it for a while then it stopes a little bit

Could be a boost leak or possibly your plug wires. Check for cracks in the plug wire insulation, in case they are grounding out on the valve cover or elsewhere. If that doesn't turn up any problems, build the leak tester found in the VFAQ and check for leaks.

Sounds like wires to me. Take a spray bottle with some water in it and mist the wires while the car is running. If it starts to miss or if you drive it and it misses worse than the dry wires then you've found the problem.

I found the problem it was a fuel filter and my spark plugs were toast not to mention whoever owned it before i got it gaped the plugs to 50 thousandths but that did the trick and i am back to normal
