So it was ncie out, so i did some cleaning this morning. My wheels had shit caked inside of them, so I cleaned them off, made them all nice and clean.

Then I moved to the engine bay. Sprayed and wiped some, made it a little cleaner than it was before. I didn't spray any of the electronics directly, but it is possible there was some splash and whatnot.

So I get into my car to go to work. Car starts up fine. But as I pull out of my driveway I notice this...the car is low on power, and under load, it makes a noise, almost like a sputtering noise. The car won't build 16psi. It seems to spike, then drop to 11 psi and hold, but slower than if it was running right on 11 psi.

WTF did I ruin now?

Edit- Also if you're on it, everynow and again it will push you back in your seat a tiny bit almost like the power is there, but then vanishes quickly. And if you watch the boost guage it will hiccup kinda.

Also, the air/fuel guage is in tweak mode.

hell I never have any problem even with the hose running all inside the engine bay full stream. 2gs are pretty weathertight.

You sure you did not diconnect a vacuum line (like from the maf-turbo intake tube) while you were "cleaning up"? Maybe while wiping something down?

Alternator is pounding like a champ. Plugs are going to be done today. Any other ideas of what to look for? As far as boost leaks, and vacuum leaks, can't seem to find any but who knows, maybe I missed a line somewhere.

Visual boost leak inspections should be illegal on the site. :)

Plug to coilpack and the wire plug was extremely corroded, and wet. Cleaned up, and the car is RUNNING like a champ, but now the damn thing won't idle worth shit. It turns off immedetely after I depress clutch or put into neutral.

I did go ahead and cleaned up my TB and the car idles perfectly. Throttle response is so much better too.

Problem solved. :thumb:
