I'm having trouble getting a set of lowering springs that fit this car. Are there any differences in the springs from N/A to turbo? Spyder? AWD? I have had two full cheapo ebay sets delivered and attempted install, and now returning. The common issue is the springs are too large in diameter and go completely over the strut seats. I am sure about the fitment when ordering and what they are advertised for. They do say GST But the fact that both different kits, from different sellers had the same issue has me questioning if they may be right for some eclipses.
The struts are correct and installed with some temporary springs that really fit sloppy. Some crap I found at my shop. Just so the car can sit outside and be moved until I figure this out. I really need a set that fit this damn thing without spending a fortune. I do not want to go to stock height. The car came with some skunk2 springs that don't fit whatsoever and let the car basically sit on the strut body. I want to raise the car by putting lowering springs that actually fit this car. I have nothing to compare to because my springs are not stock and are not aftermarket that fit this thing. I think a 2" drop spring should raise it a few inches and have a nice lowered look.
How do I verify the next set I order will fit this car? To be clear, 1998 GST
Here are the two sets I've tried so far: As you can see when you scroll down, they advertise for my car.

. I think it's a good deal for a name brand.
