need help with springs

wich is better dropzone springs or some cut eibach pros that have been cut to lower the car 1.8???i have ran dropzone on my accord be for and loved it but it was not a preformance car eather ...please help . would love to find someone out there that has dropzone on there car and tell me how they feel

I'm sorry did you say CUT Eibach Pro springs? Why would you cut a LOWERING spring?

depending on the spring rate, springs on stock shocks will be bouncey. But if you want springs check out the Megans, for the price there not bad.

i didnt cut them found them forsale in my town. didnt know if the eibach would still be better even after being cut .5 of an inch

Some of the better springs for 2Gs are the eibach pro kit. They arent a crazy high spring rate, but they handle well and ride nice. tirerack and ebay has them for under 200 for the set. I have those with the tokico illumina shocks. Dont half-ass it, get good springs and good strtus/shocks to control them or the car will ride and handle like doo.

I think I'm still missing something here..I don't understand why anyone would cut lowering springs or any spring for that matter. Yeah, cutting the spring would lower the car more but the spring rates would stay the same which means the shocks have more of a chance of bottoming out.

In your case, if you're only set on either one of those springs, I'd go with dropzone since the Eibachs were cut. If not, consider H&R or Megans.
