Hello, I have been reading this forums for a year but have never joined. Well today I bought my first DSM so I decided to join. Its a 1995 Eclipse GST some of the mods including, Tubular exhaust manifold, 3' down pipe, 3' exhaust, front mount inter-cooler.

Anyways the issue is it also came with lowering springs on the front and the ride is one of the stiffest I have ever felt. Every bump feels like the front end just fell out, He did give me another set of lowering springs but also gave me the stock springs I would like to put those on.

Now to the issue, he was saying you need special tools one is a spring tension-er obvious but the other I'm not sure of. So my question is how hard is it to put the stock ones back on and what tools will I need?

Thanks so much for the help

The only specialty tool you will need is spring compressors. You can rent them from a local auto parts store. A impact drill is always helpful with busting some of those nuts lose. They can be a pain. Other than that just get a haynes manual from the parts store to help if you need it.
