Using my stock shocks with my new springs

Alright well I just received my eibach prokit for my GSX. I have read all the threads and I can not come to a conclusion about how long the stock shocks will last if i install the prokit on them. Yes i realize i should buy new shocks and i will be getting some soon but I have a lot of time on my hands right now and these springs are just staring at me from the corner of my garage. I do not mind if it feels the same or slightly worse for now but I am just wondering from anyone that has actually done it how long they have lasted before blowing.

Im not sure how much of a hassle it will be to install the springs then take them off and reinstall on new shocks though so maybe i should just wait??

Also one person said this too "..Prokit is designed to go with stock shocks, hence the low spring rate."

Well if anyone can help me out that would be great, thanks. (and i already have the bolts and washers for the rear camber)

i put new 2" lowering springs on my stock shocks about 4 months ago, it seems to be fine, rides ok, a little stiff but its ok.

thanks, so they will last for a little bit. Is it a pain to disassemble all 4 then redo it again in a little while? cause im dying to put these on to check out my drop

It will be easier the second time then it was the first.
I ran coilovers on stock shocks for 6 months. It killed my shocks probably within the first month but the ride didn't get much worse so kept driving on it like that.

I know theres a guy on here that has sprint 2" springs on stock shocks for a year or more. I read it in the suspension/handling section

thats good to know, I think im just gonna go ahead and do it. I do not mind the extra labor and it will be about 2 weeks longer for my illuminas.
