Vfaq. How to lower 2g with new springs?

How do I change my front springs on my 2g? Do someone have a Vfaq or something? Have tryed searching...

I did all 4 of mine on my own without any previous experience. It's not too hard. The one thing you will need is the spring compressor. Most auto stores will rent it for you. It takes the load off the strut for you.

Thanx a lot Is it the same procedure for just changing the springs? Not the shocks to.? Do I need to adjust the wheels after lowering 20 or 40mm with new springs?

Yea it's the same thing even if you are just doing the springs. You have to take it all out in one piece as the springs are connected to the strut. Remove the springs, install new ones on the strut. And then install it all again as one piece. As far as wheel adjustment I'm not really sure what you mean. But I didn't have to do any adjusting. Unless you mean an alignment, you probably should get that done after you finish.

You can rent a spring comressor tool from your local auto parts store, to ge the spring out safely..Then just swap the new spring in..And I would reccomend and alighment after any suspension work..
