Spring Question Eibach GC or H&R

I have a 1G Laser with H&R springs and KYB AGX Shocks.

Would it be an upgrade if i went to a set of Eibach GC Coilovers and keep the AGX's?

This is for Drag Racing. I want a STIFF ride.

I think so, H&R are more for Euro cars IMO. Plus you'll have the adjustable height etc. I'd say go for it.

Yes.

I've had AGX/H&R, GR2/Pro-Kit, and a couple of other combos through the years. The H&Rs were the most forgiving, but you're stuck with that not-so-stiff spring rate forever.

Koni front + AGX rear with GCs all around is pure fun. Full soft and raised up a bit, the car can feel mild. Dropped and stiffened (even with my low spring rates), its quite fun.

This question arose because I searched and couldn’t find info on a Eibach GC setup.

Allot of other brands but not Eibach.

I was happy with the H&R’s when the car was running. So It sounds like I will like the Eibach’s even better.

Also I have a set of adjustable upper control arms for the rear so camber shouldn’t be an issue, but what about the front?

You can likely dial in/out some camber with just eccentric bolts up front. 30 bucks for a pair at NAPA and -1.5 to +1.5 adjustment. If you're not trying to fit some big meats under the fender, that'll be plenty.

Pretty sure that Ground Control only sells Eibach springs, but DG and others have pushed Hypercoil. DG knows his stuff.

I was searching Ground Control as a type of Coil over not as a brand.... DUH!
