So, lifted up the rear of a 1g awg I have recently acquired to find that the spring in the cars Ground Control coilover installation had broked at the perch coil.
Fantastic.
Cant seem to get replacement springs and since I didnt originally purchase the springs I am not covered under warranty.
Since GC doesnt offer individual parts -- you must buy all four corners -- a failure in Eibachs manufacturing means I am out 600+ if I were to go the same route.
My question is, is this a common defect with Eibach parts? I have never personally seen a spring failure like this before.

a broken part." I was more saddened that bringing the part up here costs more than the part itself and that a part that looks so new from a trusted name would be broken in such a way.
