spline count

i have a 93 tsi talon and i keep hearing its a 23 spline count in the tcase

help me out its my first talon

i just wanted to know what the spline count was for the t case so 90 92 is 22 count?

The spline count is the number of teeth on the shaft from the transmission to the transfer case. I also have a 1993 and it has 23 teeth on the shaft that goes into the T-case. Hope this explains what "23 spline" means.

ok i got one more if i take the drive shaft out of my tsi will it becime fwd

I don't wanna steal this thread just didn't wanna make one but would a tcase out of a 91 fit in my 95 gsx?
