speed sensor problem

My speed sensor is not working.

What readings is my sensor suppose to give me when I turn it?
Is anyone able to look at the factory service manual and let me know?

It should turn on and off four times per revolution.

When you say on and off, do you mean 0 volts? It should go to zero 4 times per revolution?

No, the continuity should go from infinity to zero, four times per revolution. It's a switch.
