speed limitor removal

Ok im making my car turbo and, since im only going to be running around 8 psi should i get the speed limitor removed.also its just a chip right? how much would it be.

Not to go off the topic but wouldn't it have been cheaper to buy a stock turbo instead?

I know you can find some info on the tech articals, they say you need to remove a pieace and solder some stuff back together.

i got my N/T for 2,700 and a turbo would be around 6-20kHAAAA no turboing might be easier

WOOOWWWWW.........it says on my FIRST post "Im making my car turbo" so obviously there will be more then 140 hp after it. Look man your a registered member and should know to read before posting.

RamenPride is saying that mitsubishi would not put a speed limiter on a non-turbo 140hp eclipse, no reason for it.
