Looking to buy new spark plugs and wires...was looking into NGK BPR6ES...but there are so many different NGK BPR6ES to choose from like resistor and non-resistor etc....what exactly am I looking for and what should I buy?

Bpr6es is a resistor plug. That part number is for one plug. Where are you getting your information about there being many different ones?

BPR6ES if you are stock.

BPR7ES if you are mildly modded.

Those are exact part numbers so I'm not sure how you think there are multiple different plugs for one part number.

You think I can go to a local part store like Autozone or O'reily and tell them the part # and get the exact part? I used to just go there and told them my year make and model and they asked me what kind i want so I told them the best kind and they gave me NGK. Think Ill just go with the 7.

I usually get them for $35 but I never knew about 6,7,8 I just took whatever they gave me. Im guessing a 7 would be good with some basic mods like intake exhaust and bov?

Get the non protruding version...I think BR7ES. Helps prevent spark blowout.

The 6ES will cover about 1/3 of DSM owners. I would only upgrade to the 7ES if I start to notice stumbling in the RPM band. FWIW, I used 6ES at 19 psi on a small 16g. I used 7ES on a E3 16g at 27 psi. And I am not using 8ES on my Holset HX40...haven't boost it yet.

The are 2.80 a piece at most parts stores.

You have been buying the wrong plug if you are paying 35 dollars for 4 plugs. They are like 2.50 walk in price at every oreilly store. Give them the part number 7131.

The ones i bought were iridium, these are copper. Any difference at all or are they all the same based on like performance wise?

BPR6ES (7131) are not iridium, they are copper. Stick with what has been proven to be best for years. Just because some counter jockey says they are best doesn't mean they are.

Iridium last's longer, but is no gain in performance whatsoever. You will be more likely to have ignition problems with the iridium than the copper.

Thanks for clearing this for me. I was on balling status and told them to give me the best. To them the best means the most expensive. Now i know what to buy.
