Spark Plugs?

What kind of ( spark plugs/cables ) would you recommend that will go with my 95 eclipse rs Non turbo! ?

platinum and irridium are garbage and should never be bought. I would rather take autolight coppers over either of those, IMHO.

I use ngk bpr6es's in my gst, they work great for a stock setup

I have been using iridiums for almost four years and never had a problem.

Op- A simple search would have given you a ridiculous amount of threads that have already been made about spark plugs. I myself use Ngk BPR6ES and Ngk plugs.

NGK if you want expensive ones, Champions are good, i ran Motorcrafts all the time in mine. But i wanted a bit hotter plug, yes i went hotter not colder.

Thank you for that. I need to remember that almost everyone here has a turbo and I don't /: , but what NGK would work best for Non turbo? Also the 4 NGK I posted above the NGK site said would go with my car, idk if those are for turbo or not?

Just go to your local Mopar dealer and get plugs and wires from them. If you dont want to do that, get some Champion or Motorcraft plugs and some (insert fave brand, personally i used NGK last time i bought some) wires from your local auto parts store. Do you want someone to drive you to these locations as well?

Besides the fact that manufacturers don't recommend them? The only other thing I can think of is my own personal experience, and the experience of other people on this forum. There's also lots of information on the inter-webs about how irridium plugs cost more, for no performance or horsepower gains.

It's a longevity thing. For newer vehicles, Honda recommends iridium plugs, as does Lexus. Both use iridium plugs and recommend a spark plug change every 90K miles. I can only comment on those two manufacturers from experience. There are likely other OEMs that use and recommend iridium plugs for their long life. Apart from a longer useful life, no, there is likely no material benefit.
