No need for Iridiums. Avoid platinums in turbocharged motors as well.BigRand said:NGK IX Iridioms. And am I supposed to get them one range colder or what?
All I can say is that engines seem to have been like this for ages. When I started wrenching, I'd hear stories about how X engines preferred Y spark plugs, and sure as all day, when you'd have ignition troubles and change the plugs to the car's favorite, things cleared up. There isn't any sense to it that I can make out, it just seems to be.punishercb said:While we're on this topic, why is the ngk spark plug so much better than others?

I'd say no, stay with the 6s until they start failing. 7s will probably load-up in real-world driving. You may want to swap to 7s if you go the the track.punishercb said:I'm guessing that the BPR7ES would be best for me right? I have all of the stuff listed in my profile and I'll have a swapped 14b soon.
